I'm Alex, a fourth-year ​majoring in Economics and Psychology, and obtaining a certificate in integrated marketing communications. This is my fourth year with TEDx, my first as a co-director, and it has been amazing to witness the club's growth and evolution these past few years. Outside of TED, I am a sports fanatic and amateur photographer, and can be found playing IM sports or venturing around campus looking for new photoshoot spots!

Outside of TEDx I am a Pilates instructor as well as a lifeguard, and I enjoy thrifting and trying new foods in my free time. I’m also a part of the Posse scholarship program. Outside of TEDx, I'm involved in the Minority Business Association and Microfinance at ISBE (the Institute for Students in Business Education), and I also volunteer with Books and Breakfast. I joined TEDx because I’ve always loved watching TED talks on YouTube, and the idea of helping bring those kinds of conversations to life sounded really exciting. I love Northwestern for its proximity to Chicago and all the multifaceted opportunities it offers!
