ABOUT
TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth sharing, TEDx is an event sponsored by TED in which live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community. TEDxNorthwesternU, with the affiliation of TED and Northwestern University, organizes one event every spring that invites highly esteemed scholars and leaders to present their ideas to the university community. At our TEDxNorthwesternU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small, yet enthusiastic and energized environment.

TED provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including TEDxNorthwesternU, are self-organized. This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
ABOUT 2023
CONFERENCE
This year's TEDxNorthwesternU conference will take place on Sunday, May 14. The theme for the presentations is "Synergy." Synergy is the coming of forces together to produce something greater than their individual beings. The power created through synergy eclipses the sum of the individual parts; imagined potential is surpassed and vast limits are met, expanding beyond our horizons. Accomplishments through synergy teach us that with collaboration and connection, we can strive to extraordinary lengths and ambitions that we cannot achieve individually.
